Bachelor's Degree Pathways
Students who earn an A.A. or A.S. degree from Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) are encouraged to explore bachelor’s degree pathways at LSSC or other Florida colleges or universities.
Lake-Sumter State College offers three bachelor's level programs:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Leadership
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Nursing - (RN to BSN)
Within the B.A.S. in Leadership, students have the option of six distinct concentrations:
- Criminal Justice Leadership
- Health Services Administration
- Human Resource Management
- Project Management
- Organizational Management
- Sports Leadership

*University of Central Florida (UCF) – DirectConnect
LSSC is a proud partner of the University of Central Florida and its DirectConnect to UCF program. DirectConnect to UCF guarantees admission (consistent with university policy) to UCF with an associate degree (A.A.) or articulated (A.S.) from LSSC.
