Nursing RN, Associate in Science Degree - General Track

The Nursing, Associate in Science (ASN) degree is a limited access program.  Acceptance into the program requires a separate application process in addition to College admission.  Interested students must review the program information packet which includes program core application requirements and selection criteria.  Program application preparation packets provide additional information and calendar specific to each program acceptance opportunity.  Students access program application information at https://www.lssc.edu/dept/nursing/asn-overview2/.

Program graduates obtain RN licensure through successful completion of the NCLEX-RN.

General Track

A four semester curriculum designed for students who do not possess pre-licensure or certification qualifications (LPN or Paramedic).

Annual Spring semester application process provides program acceptance consideration for the following options:

  • Preferred-- starting subsequent Fall Semester 
  • Compressed-- starting subsequent Fall Semester

Annual Summer semester application process provides program acceptance consideration for the following options:

  • Preferred-- starting subsequent Spring Semester 
  • Compressed-- starting subsequent Spring Semester
