Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Admission Requirements for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) 

  • Applicants must hold a valid, unencumbered Florida RN license or a multistate Compact RN license (earned through successful completion of the NCLEX) and have graduated from an ASN program at an institution that has received their institutional accreditation from an agency authorized by the U.S. Department of Education.
    •  Applicants may be conditionally admitted with proof of completion of an ASN program from an institution that has received their institutional accreditation from an agency authorized by the U.S. Department of Education; however, they must obtain and submit either a Florida RN         license or a Compact license by the end of the first semester in the BSN program to remain enrolled.
  • Meet prerequisite and GPA requirements: Applicants must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale and complete all prerequisites below (4 classes; 15 semester credit hours) with a grade of "C" or better.
