Dual Enrollment is the opportunity for qualified students in grades 6-12 to enroll in LSSC courses while concurrently enrolled in middle or high school. To be eligible, students must meet academic requirements as described in the appropriate dual enrollment articulation agreement and be enrolled in a Florida public school, private school, or home education program in Lake or Sumter Counties in compliance with applicable Florida statutes.

To apply for admission to the Dual Enrollment program, applicants should complete the online Dual Enrollment Application. A completed application must include verification of the student's high school GPA (public and private high school students) and qualifying test scores. Scores must meet the minimum requirements specified on the Dual Enrollment Checklist.

Note: The application fee is waived for dual enrollment applicants

Admissions requirements for dual enrollment students accepted in specialized academies may vary.

Dual enrollment students who wish to continue at LSSC upon High School graduation should complete the following steps:

1. Complete the online Readmission Application.
2. Submit an official high school transcript that includes the high school graduation date (public and private high school students) or submit a signed affidavit attesting that the student has completed a home education program pursuant to the requirements of Florida Statutes 1002.41 (home education students)
