MAT 0018  Developmental Mathematics I  (4 Credits )  
This course includes operations with signed numbers, decimals, and fractions. Ratios, percentages, geometric formulas, and a first introduction to algebra are also included. Students will receive a grade of either Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
MAT 0027  Developmental Math II for Liberal Arts  (4 Credits )  
This course provides instruction in developmental algebra concepts that serve as a foundation for college-level liberal arts math. These concepts are presented in the context of real-world problems. The emphasis is on the development of skills that promote mathematical literacy. Topics include numeracy, descriptive statistics, interpreting and representing data in graphs, polynomial manipulation, dimensional analysis, rate of change, and basic equation solving. This course is intended for non-STEM majors.
MAT 0028  Developmental Mathematics II  (4 Credits )  
This course includes basic concepts and operations, linear equations and inequalities, word problems, exponents, factoring, simple quadratic equations, and graphing. Students will receive a grade of either Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
MAT 0055  Developmental Math II Modules  (1 Credit )  
This course includes operations with integers, decimals and fractions; solving linear equations, linear inequalities, word problems and simple quadratic equations; operations with exponents; factoring; and graphing lines.
MAT 1033  Intermediate Algebra  (3 Credits )  
This course includes the study of real numbers, linear and quadratic equations, linear inequalities, systems of linear equations, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and related equations, radicals, quadratic formula, completing the square, complex numbers, absolute value, graphing, and applications.
