MNA-Management: Applied (MNA)

MNA 1100  Human Relations in Business & Industry  (3 Credits )  
This is an applied course concerned with human behavior and personnel relations in business and industry. The elements of human behavior that bear upon success and failure on the job, techniques of group participation and leadership, plus opportunity for self analysis constitute the core of the course.
MNA 1949  Practicum for Management Technology  (24-27 Credits )  
Students with a Career and Technical Certificate identified in the articulation agreement with Lake Technical College may receive credit based on departmental review. Students earning a Career and Technical Certificate from other accredited postsecondary institutions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Credits will apply only to students seeking an Associate in Science in Management Technology.
MNA 4037  Introduction to Project Management  (3 Credits )  
An introduction to project management theory and practice, outlined by the Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), in preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications. The course presents an overview of concepts in project management and core processes such as project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring and controlling, and project closeout.
MNA 4521  Project Management Quality and Evaluation  (3 Credits )  
This course focuses students on key activities and processes specific to quality assurance practices, which ensures that project deliverables meet the planned quality standards. Students will learn to assess, implement, and validate quality control measures that report on project performance, functionality, suitability, and consistency. By the end of this course, students are expected to know how to integrate project quality management into the entire project life cycle.
