The course is designed to develop mathematical and computational skills used in various business settings using word problems. Much of the material covered in the course centers around basic finance and accounting concepts.

Students will gain knowledge and skills regarding the techniques and concepts related to the use of data in leadership roles to inform decision-making. This will include applying basic business analytics tools, interpreting data analysis, and communicating data effectively & ethically. Emphasis is placed on application, concepts, and interpretation of results, rather than theory and calculations.
