SPC-Speech Communication (SPC)

SPC 1930  Speech Specializations  (1-3 Credits )  
This course is designed to provide special training in one of the areas of communication, covering such topics as nonverbal communication, interpersonal communication, listening, etc.
SPC 2608  Public Speaking  (3 Credits )  
This course introduces students to communication theory and its application to preparing and delivering public speeches. Emphasis is placed on improving speaking and listening skills common to all forms of oral communication through a variety of experiences in public speaking.

SPC 2608H  Public Speaking Honors  (3 Credits )  
This course introduces the student to communication theory and its applications to the preparation and development of public speeches. Emphasis is placed on improving the speaking and listening skills necessary for all forms of oral communication by providing the student with a variety of experiences in public speaking. The course will be delivered using a cross-disciplinary approach.
