The Office of Career Development at Lake-Sumter State College empowers students to achieve career success by providing comprehensive resources and tools.  We offer career advising, exploration assistance, and guidance on major selection and degree pathways.  Students can also benefit from help with resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, networking, job search strategies, and internship opportunities.  Ultimately, the office connects students with employers and prepares them for the demands of the modern workplace.

Exploring career options begins with understanding your personal strengths and interests, and Lake-Sumter State College's Office of Career Development helps students do just that.  Through Pathful Explore, current students and alumni can access free career assessments and then work with advisors to interpret results and develop a personalized career plan.
