LSSC encourages student participation in activities that complement a student's academic program by providing opportunities for leadership development, shared governance, helping to build a sense of belonging, the pursuit of special interests, and by providing students with social engagement with fellow students, faculty and staff. Student Life also supports a variety of services including campus recreation, on-campus and community events, and service projects. The Student Government Association and college clubs and organizations are under the auspices of Student Life.
