Academic Program Advisory Committees
Lake-Sumter State College continually strives to improve its services and programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. Academic Program Advisory Committees serve the vital purpose of bringing community input into the College through the expertise and contacts of committee members and ensuring the College is meeting the community's employment needs. Additionally, members serve as ambassadors for the College by sharing information with others and serving as our community connection. Advisory boards meet a minimum of twice a year and serve the following programs:
